CODY SNYDER CHARITY BULLBUSTIN’
The Legend. The Legacy. The Experience.
In 1999, Cody and Rhonda Snyder launched Cody Snyder Charity Bullbustin’, blending elite competition with meaningful community impact. Each summer, the top bull riders in the world descend on Calgary to compete in a high stakes, adrenaline charged showdown, with points counting toward the PBR World Finals. The result is a world class field of athletes, an electric arena atmosphere, and a night that rivals any major sporting event in North America. What began as a bold vision has grown into Calgary’s must attend event and one of the most anticipated nights of the summer. To date, the event has raised more than $4 million for Alberta charities, creating a lasting impact on thousands of lives across the province.
The legacy
For more than 30 years, Rhonda and Cody Snyder have produced world class professional bull riding events across North America, redefining what the sport could be.
Their partnership blends Cody’s legacy as a World Champion Bull Rider with Rhonda’s expertise in marketing and public relations, creating innovative, high energy productions that elevated bull riding from competition to spectacle.
In 1993, Cody suffered a career ending injury. Rather than stepping away from the sport he loved, he chose to reimagine it. With Rhonda by his side, the Snyders set out to build something new and something bigger.
Just four months later, they produced their first professional bull riding event at Calgary’s historic Stampede Corral.
From the very beginning, Bullbustin’ Inc. changed the game. As the first to integrate pyrotechnics, theatrical lighting, and choreographed music into professional bull riding, they transformed the arena into a full scale production, thrilling audiences and ushering in a new era for the sport worldwide.
